Description
The Apex Locator Woodpex III L is an advanced endodontic device designed to accurately measure the length of apical teeth during dental procedures. It features a clear and bright LCD screen that displays the trajectory of the file in color-coded indications, enhancing visualization. This device utilizes advanced multiple-frequency network impedance measurement technology along with automatic calibration to ensure precise results.
Notably, the accessories such as the measuring wire, file clip, and lip hook are autoclavable, effectively preventing cross-infection and ensuring hygiene. The Woodpex III L operates on a rechargeable battery, providing convenience and cost-effectiveness by eliminating the need for frequent battery replacements.
The main unit is equipped with various indicators, including power and sound indicators, length measurement, and a power on/off button. It is suitable for measuring various dental conditions such as pulpitis, pulp necrosis, periapical periodontitis, and for determining tooth length before restorations or transplants.
Please Note: The accuracy of readings for apex locators is claimed to be 97.7%. Readings may vary from the conventional radiographic method and can fluctuate if recommended precautions (as outlined in the user manual) are not followed.
